It all began when Thomas fastened onto a deep Oli Haggar cross and gave B52’s keeper, Sam Smith no chance on 16 minutess. Thomas headed home a Christian Swain corner 9 mins later to give the Chichester side a 2-0 lead at half-time.
Swain who had sparkled in midfield had to move to left wing-back to replace the injured Matt Price, but Robbie Pinder deputised for him well in midfield.
