Lavant Coach Mark Court lines up the Lavant Youth Football Team for their first team photo.

At the start of September Lavant FC launched their Youth Section starting with Fun Football Sessions for boys and girls aged 4 to 6 year olds.

All new players are welcome. Training sessions are held every Saturday morning during term time starting at 9.00am on Lavant Village Green and each sessions lasts 45 minutes. 8 players maximum per session.

The Youth Section is registered as part of Lavant Football Club, which together the youth and adult teams are fully affiliated with the Sussex FA.

The club have completed all the necessary Safeguarding and Welfare training and have a nominated Welfare Officer Matt Lyttle contact Mobile: 07964 061877.

The football club hope to develop the Youth Section so that we can give local kids the opportunity to come along and enjoy playing and fall in love with football from an early age.

Mark’s aim is to make each session fun and enjoyable creating an environment that is exciting, memorable and safe, one that keeps children coming back.
